BLOG

Our aim is for NIAS to increase its presence and influence as an institution for high-quality technical papers reflecting issues surrounding development and culture in Africa. One of the ways we can achieve this is to consistently produce short articles for our website. The aim is for these articles to be up-to-date for relevant current affairs, but also help to draw attention to our other causes which we support.

These articles strive to be an accurate, balanced news source for people interested in Culture and Development in Africa. One such example of a recent article being published for our website was an entry detailing the life and influence of Steve Beko.

To foster interest and gain repeat viewership, the institute will publish regular new articles, with a view to also attracting these interested site visitors to other areas of our work and research, such as the Saharan Journal and our workshops.
